After going to the chiropractor for a year, my back pain only worsened. My friend had recommended I try acupuncture, as it had helped her sprained ankle heal in THREE days!! I went to this place and after three visits, my back pain is practically gone. Keep in mind my back pain has been worsening for the last 6 years, and after just 3 appointments it's gone! I see people complaining about the price, but for this magic, it's well worth it. You can't be cheap when it comes to self care!! Amazing place, and would recommend to anyone with any issues.

I owe everything to this place. Chronic nerve damage and hemiplegic migraines that weren't managed through medication were actually soothed here. I was in a head on collision 3 years with no relief until I started recieving treatment here. Theyre not money driven and actually care about their patients. I have gone about 3 months with no treatment and no pain. Thank you so much.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I was recommended to goto see Yao-Qing Huang by Cigna insurance. When I called to schedule the appointment they tried to tell me that the purpose of my visit was not covered by insurance to their knowledge and that I should contact Cigna to see if it was covered. I subsequently spoke to Cigna and they confirmed that it IS covered. I show up for my treatment, complete the paperwork, and tell them that I want to bill through my insurance. At this point, it is VERY clear that they do not intend to accept my insurance. They put me in a small room in the back, while they wait for 5 minutes (you can hear everything in this place), then call Cigna. The issue seems to be that he can't find the correct code through the Cigna lookup tool. He proceeds to yell at Cigna for about 15 minutes while I am sitting in this room. He came in and out with the phone, at one point leaving his phone in the room. When he left his phone in the room, the Cigna rep asked a question which I responded to. When he came back in, he yelled at me for speaking to them. After about 20 minutes.. he came back in and yelled at me some more about how when he bills through insurance that he doesn't get paid. I had enough. I declared that this was completly inappropriate and I had told him my intent to use insurance before my visit. I wasted an hour of my time visiting this office. I came to see him because I wanted help/treatment, and it is clear that he is not interested in helping people. When I got up to leave the woman blocked the door until I declared that I was going to leave and it was obvious this was not going to work out. I stated that they should get themselves removed from the insurance companies's provider list.. In response to which I was yelled at some more. BEWARE!!! After reading the below reviews I now see that others have had the same experience as me. I am separately following up with Cigna to recommend that he be removed from their provider list so that others do not have this experience.

Very knowledgeable, kind, and professional practitioners. I noticed a difference in my pain from the first session, and after 3 months there was no question that the sessions helped alleviate my symptoms. So happy I found this place.

Yao-Qing Huang is knowledgeable and would be great but be prepared to pay out of pocket- $99. They do not accept insurance despite being contracted in-network with Cigna. They do not file claims with any insurance. They will give you a paper claim form but you have to file. Which if they are claiming to be in-network, they are supposed to file. I checked with Cigna and my benefits to make sure my appt would be covered in network. I read all the new patient paperwork and they never once mentioned anything about billing. I talked to Yao-Qing Huang during the consult before acupuncture services were provided and he said he wasn't sure what each patients co-pay would be. My Cigna Champion/advocate called their practice afterwards to find out more details and the woman (Susan?) answered. Cigna told me that as soon as he mentioned he was from Cigna and had questions about billing, she said the language barrier was too great and the Cigna representative would need to talk to the doctor and they would call Cigna back (spoiler alert; they didn't call back) and they were really busy so it would be later on in the day. Granted, I spent 2 hours there and was the only patient besides Yao-Qing Huang and the woman. And when I left there were no other patients. This is suspicious because the woman had no problem talking with me when scheduling the appointment. Yao-Qing Huang does have a thick accent so it is hard to tell what he is saying 100% if the time. But that's not why I was unpleased and disappointed in this practice. Just an FYI. No matter what insurance you have, they don't accept any but you can file a claim yourself. You've been warned.
