Motherland Hair Braiding is a wonderful place to get hair done, with many customers pleased and looking forward to going back. Reviews describe it as a great shop with an amazing and great atmosphere. Many report that braiders do hair exactly how asked, ensure comfort, and do a great job, with styles like knotless braids looking neat and good for weeks. Hair is included in all styles. However, experiences can vary, with one note that a braider did not listen to a request to braid lightly. Wait times can be long, especially on Saturdays, with appointments sometimes taking longer than expected due to busy periods. Overall, for the price, many are happy campers who continue going and receive many compliments on their hair.
Unfortunately this is my last time going here I have been a repeated customer until today not what I expected i asked for Ms Kat to do it but she put me off on two other ladies I'm not pleased at all however I will try to fix it to get my money's worth! the bottom of them too much going on some are curled an some straight some nothing! So happy I didn't pay anymore than what I paid or we would have been a big problem! I wish them the best if it's not Helen or Fatima or Kat herself doing it u will not be pleased 😡 they used different hair an did what they wanted to do ! I would not recommend this place
AMAZING!!!! I got my hair done a month ago and it still looks good! I got knotless braids- waist length. I took both my daughters last week to get braids as well…. They love them!! Not to mention hair is included in all styles
I was referred by a friend and I was pleased..I came in at the time I discussed with the owner. It was slow start and what was suppose to take 5 hours took 8 hours due to the owner calling in more braiders because it got super busy.
For the price, I'm a happy camper. The fact that hair is included, she asked what style and size, and I had pictures of my friends hair and she knew exactly what I wanted.
Be prepared to wait and sit longer especially if you go on Saturday
