African Hair Braiding

I made an appointment and was able to get in quickly. (Maybe because it was scheduled on a Monday). I sent her a picture from Pinterest so she could see the length and size of the medium size knotless braids that I wanted. Upon arriving the place is clean and does not have a stinch. She braids extremely tight so it’s not for the tender headed. I’m not tender headed and I still think she braids extremely tight! My braids are nice and neat however I’m disappointed that she did not clean the hair as I requested and my braids came out smaller than I requested. I would consider this small knotless and not medium knotless.Service: Braids

Received a recommendation from friend about salon so I went to check out shop and make appointment. They were able to do my 2 daughters hair the same day. Wasn't expecting same day appointment so they charged extra $10 to wash and blow dry hair. Both my daughters got box braids for the first time at a salon and I was pleased with braid quality. One of my daughters complained that the braiding was too tight so we informed them and they tried to loosen up without making the braids looking crazy.

The only reason this gets a 3 Star is because the braids itself are very nice because my family told me so ...however they are extremely tight and I just can't see the beauty in it as I write this review. I told her it was right a few times and as the flow of things continued and I sat there as a glutton for punishment. The owner not only made an appointment with me for Monday at 9:30 am she didn't show up and when I called her she told me she would be there by 11. So reluctantly I rescheduled for the following day at 9am and when I called her to remind her (the owner) she sounded like she was still in the bed and was still late arriving to the shop.
