I previously gave a 1 star rating based on my experience (see below). The salon immediately responded that they offer a warranty and to go back to get my nails fixed, which I did. A young woman named Shayla fixed my nails and they are so much better and exactly what I expected. She drilled down the thickness of the acrylic and she filed them shorter and to a square shape that I asked for the first time but didn’t get. And FYI… about the cuticles not being cut. Shayla said there is a charge for that and you have to let the tech know, which is fine; but I was a new customer and didn’t know. Anyway, based on this second experience I would recommend this salon and definitely Shayla. Thank you Nail Bar for fixing my nails. ** The pix of my nails outside are the fixed nails. **

I’m not sure how this place has such a good rating. I went to get a full set of acrylic nails for an my son’s upcoming wedding. I was given Mimi as my nail tech. She asked what shape I wanted, I said square and short. We went through the usual discussion of length and shape; I wanted square and short. She asked if I wanted them thick and I said I wanted them thin. In the end I got neither thin nor short nails even after asking her to shorten them again after she put the acrylic on. And she didn’t cut my cuticles, which I thought was weird. I left and was not sure how I felt about them but after I got home, I realized they were not good. The acrylic is just thick and they look bad. Mimi mentioned something about the next time I go. . . I won’t be going back. I tried to file them down when I got home which didn’t help. This was a huge waste of money and time and a big disappointment for my upcoming party. I cannot recommend this place based on my experience. *The pix are the before I filed them*“
