Dave did an amazing job on my very first tattoo! I was nervous and he made me feel at ease. I absolutely love my tattoo and will definitely return to Dave at BST!!! Highly recommend this shop!! It was very clean!!

Andre Guerra is PHENOMENAL! He has done all the tattoos on my body (covered up some). You want an artist that is authentic; won't just place a tattoo because you want it; gets to know you and takes into account your vision and is ABLE to put your vision on paper, hit up Andre at Blood, Sweat, and Tears on Monroe Road in Charlotte! I attached his most recent work, the butterfly life cylce down my spine and the butterflies. Color will happen in Oct 2024...im going to be in the sun and on the beaches!

What a great experience we had here today. I bought my hubby a gift certificate at Christmas time so today he went for his tattoo.

Dave Scearce did his tattoo. We came in last week for a consultation with him and showed him what he wanted. Today we came back and Dave stenciled it and it was perfect. Before getting it placed, Dave did guide us when we wanted to change the position, so he talked us through it and he was correct so we went with what he suggested.

My hubby has been talking about this tattoo for years as he was on submarines in the Navy and every year we kept putting it off. Well today was his day. This is our second time using this shop and this is the only place we would go to. Everyone is extremely nice and enjoyed our experience. The tattoo is amazing!!!!

Eric and Sam are FANTASTIC artists! I've had several done by Eric over the past years, but he recently moved to larger pieces, so he referred me to Samantha. My appointment was Sunday, and I am already planning my next tattoo. She is really sweet and caring. She made sure to send me quick pieces of the tattoo BEFORE the appointment, so we could make adjustments together, then throughout the appointment, Sam checked in on me several times and let me take as many breaks as needed. She hit several spots that made me twitch and each time I apologized because it's not easy to correct a tattoo mistake. She also tattooed my niece and my niece even said, I like her a lot!
Sam makes you feel VERY comfortable. Usually, I am very nervous before a tattoo, but this time I was very comfortable. No jitters! Thank you so MUCH Sam! You're fantastic. You'll see me very soon!

As someone who never leaves bad reviews, I was hesitant to even make this one but I believe this needs some accountability. Went in to get a tattoo by Justin on 3/10. I had a couple of ideas in mind from his posts on Instagram. Went in told him a general idea of what I wanted and paid a $50 deposit. I came back on 3/12 and was sitting for the tattoo. Mind you he is an apprentice so in my mind there was no way this tattoo should be more than $150-200. I also have a full sleeve so I'm aware of general pricing for them. When I went in, I never filled out any type of paperwork or gave him my id. First red flag. The tattoo continued on and it was honestly pretty brutal. He then had the idea to "fade the design" so it required less time. I agreed as I typically trust the tattoo artist with doing a good job. Boy was a I wrong. It looked okay at first glimpse but I honestly think I was in shock from how incredibly painful it was. I thanked him and he ran my card. When I went to pay I didn't see a total so I thought nothing of it. Ran my card no worries. Keep in mind the $50 deposit I already paid. My phone lagged so the transaction didn't immediately pop up until about 15 mins later. At that point I had already cashapped him a $25 tip. I get down the road and pull over when I get a notification for a $312 charge. I was speechless. I totally see my wrong in expecting people to be decent humans and not double checking the price. I checked with a ton of tattoo artist around the Gainesville area and they were shocked at this $312 + $50 deposit tattoo. I called him out for it on Instagram and he claims he "mistyped" and meant to put $200. Absolutely bullshit. He cashapped me $100 to make up for it. So I technically ended up paying $262 for this prison looking tat. The actual tattoo itself is atrocious and I'm currently in the works of getting it covered up. I have reported this tattoo shop and sent a request to the state due to them not checking id and also not properly shadowing an apprentice. This guy should not be tattooing. Please be cautious and take your business literally anywhere else.

Had an amazing experience at BST and Lauren was absolutely fantastic! She always made sure to ask if I was doing okay or if I needed anything. She took her time and was very thorough. She did an amazing job and I will definitely be back for my next tattoo!

My husband took me to see Lauren to get a tattoo honoring my mom. She loved birds and one of her favorites was the cardinal. I'm a blank canvas and have been known to pass out when getting blood drawn. I also have fibromyalgia, which I found out afterwards can become overly stimulated with things like this. No lie, it hurt! I started with that lil piece of info because I'd go through it all over again with no questions because it is absolutely everything I wanted and MORE! I'm an artist. In my personal opinion, I wouldn't want to do something permanent unless I could do it myself. I thought I'd be to picky and have unrealistic expectations. Lauren, you did an absolutely awesome piece of art on my arm. I still look at it and can't believe I not only did it but plan to come back to you for my favorite bird on the other arm. I'm so thankful for your talent. Thank you so very much. You ROCK!!!

Got a small tattoo by Daniel last weekend. Incredibly kind group of people working here. Tattoo turned out beautiful and the atmosphere is just unmatched! Will be back!!
