It was easy to make an appointment online, and they were curious and compassionate.

They took super care of my beloved pet when we had an emergency situation.

The team was fantastic! When I had an immediate need they were available and we walked in got the treatment we needed for half the emergency price in just a few hours. I am so thankful that I found them.

Very kind and loving professionals. Excellent care. They treated my elderly dog in the sweetest way. They were very reasonably priced compared to other urgent vets!

Excellent experience tonight. We brought our dog in for some odd discharge in her eye since there's an ice storm rolling in tomorrow through the weekend, and we didn't want to wait until we could see our vet next week.

We got there at the time I had reserved online (which is optional--you can just walk in). Within a couple minutes of our arrival and checking in at the front desk, someone promptly came out and took us back. Staff saw to it that she was very well cared for, did a couple of tests, and quickly identified the problem (allergic conjunctivitis). They sent us home with an ointment, and from start to finish we were only there for about an hour. We were very impressed! Highly recommend.

The staff was great snd extremely knowledgeable, efficient and supportive. Our kitty is already feeling so much better.

I was beyond pleased with URGENTVET in Chapel Hill. ! I didn’t even know there was such a thing as an “urgent vet” for pets. I had called all the emergency vets close to me on New Year’s Day and they had a 2-3 hr wait, or couldn’t even give me a wait time. When I called urgentvet I thought it was just another emergency Vet as it was listed under them on the internet, but it’s not, it’s a true urgent vet like urgent cares for people.
My cat had injured herself when jumping down from the kitchen cabinets and her balance/coordination when walking/jumping became very abnormal. When I called urgentvet the person I spoke to was very kind and truly listened to what I was saying. I was able to get an appointment which I was very happy about! The tech that checked me in was very thorough and kind, I think her name was Cindy. Dr. Catherine Evans saw my cat Boots, she too was very kind and very knowledgeable. Dr. Evan’s did a thorough exam on Boots, discussed with me in detail testing she recommended and why, in addition to the treatment plan once the testing was completed . She made sure I understood the treatment and answered all my questions. Prior to any testing being performed, I was given a detailed breakdown of the cost and feel only pertinent test were done . Avee, I think was her name, the manager of the office also came into the room to assure my needs were being met, she too was very kind.
The staff also let me know that should I ever come there and the Vet determines I need to take my pet to an emergency vet, that if I go to the one a few blocks from them, I would only pay for one office visit and that x-rays/labs would transfer to them.
Although I live in Burlington, from now on if my vet is closed, Urgentvet is open and they feel they can handle what’s going on with my pet, I will be taking them there. Not only was the staff very friendly, the vet very knowledgeable, it was cheaper than an emergency vet! Of course you’re going to pay more than you would at your vet, but believe me I’ve made a lot of emergency vet visits over the years, and urgentvet is cheaper!
I am so grateful I found them, within 24hrs of treatment being started my cats symptoms had resolved.

Had an extreme emergency. Rushed in and was treated with a sense of urgency and care. Lost my best friend that night , after Christmas, on my birthday. And Erica and the team took care of everything.
