About Papillon the salon
Papillon the salon has stylists with varying levels of customer service and skill. Yah is a stylist who is friendly, open to giving advice, and takes time to ensure she understands her clients' goals. She did a great job highlighting and styling a 13-year-old's hair and trimming the long hair of a 12-year-old. Papillon is a clean and well-kept salon, and appointments can be made directly with Yah. However, there have been negative experiences with another stylist, Faye. Faye was reported to be rude from the first call to make an appointment and throughout the actual appointment. The quality of her hair coloring and cutting services was poor, with highlights not toned properly, uneven and choppy cut, and dried blood on her hand during the appointment. It is recommended to specify a request for Yah when booking an appointment at Papillon the salon.
Faye is wonderful. She's down to earth, relaxed, knows what she's doing. She takes her time to try to 100% ensure her customers get what they want, even if that means coming back to alter something after a couple weeks go by, ln her own time. She's not loud or fake. She knows everything there is to know about colors, cuts & styling. And she puts her all into each client. If you're going to Papillion the Salon, go for Faye or don't bother!
I went to Yah tonight for a cut and color, and I have to say it is one of the best cuts and colors I’ve had in years. She was so pleasant, and professional, and I could not have wished for anything better experience! Highly recommend her services!
Yah was fantastic! She was very friendly and was open to giving me advice while making sure she knew my overall goal for my haircut. I really appreciate the time and care she took. I hadn’t been to Papillon before, but it was very clean and looked well kept. I made my appointment directly with Yah.
Hair type: Long, straight hair. Because of that my cut was $10 more than the standard price. I had a Groupon, but the cut would normally be $85.
