Highly recommend Green Step if you want new hardwoods or want to refinish existing floors. They just replaced our old, worn-out engineered hardwoods with gorgeous red oak on our main floor, replaced the carpeting on our stairs with hardwoods, and refinished all of our handrails to match. When we first returned home, there was still some detail work to be done, and the team came and completed the work (under my somewhat demanding supervision) without complaint. This is the third time we've worked with them (the two previous times were at our old house), and we are always pleased with the work and the finished product. Green Step and their owners are a great company to work with. We had an issue on our project, that was no fault of their own, just an mix up from a supplier that caused the new kitchen floor to not quite match our existing floors. Green Step went ahead completely removed the kitchen floor that they had just installed and fully replaced them. Really no questions asked, they never tried to convince us that the original match was good enough. Surely it was a tough project for them financially but they did what was right. 10/10 LOVE the work green step flooring did for me! We got estimates from 5 different flooring companies and green step was about the middle price wise. I took a long time researching everyone and all of the other companies had some negative reviews I just couldn’t see past. Green step was 100% the right choice for me! They were communicative, timely, professional, efficient. They got don’t in 3 days when everyone else said it would take 5. They painted the shoe moulding and they could do matching air vents flush with the floor. This was the first thing we did with our new house and we were so scared to make a wrong decision.
