First time going there this evening, and I'm liking what I'm seeing. Very relaxed atmosphere, looking forward to returning.(Btw, the Carrboro Run Club has just found a new home at the Dog, every Tues @ 6:33p)

Decent brewery for a good cause! Tried the Lucky Dog IPA, Bark Ruffalo Hazy ipa, and the Suzie's French 75. Suzie's was the best of the three and by quite a margin. Birth ipa's were ok.

Was gonna give 3 stars, but to be non-profit in the interest of saving doggo lives definitely earns an extra star.That being said: the beer wasn't great nor was the service or the vibe.My husband and I went on Wednesday for $2-off-flights and each got a flight. We tried 8 of 9 beers on tap, and none of them were awesome. About 3 of them tasted like what they were advertised, and the rest were all... well... weird. Black lagers tasting barrel aged (without noting it), brown ales tasting more like maple syrup than beer, and the hazy IPA and normal IPA tasting nearly identical.And, a woman who was there working but not behind the bar (the owner, I assume) was extremely rude...read full review
