There is no better well service company in WNC than Clyde Sawyer & Son. They drilled and put in a deep well for us a few years ago. After the ice storm, thought we had a problem which turned out to be broken water pipe in our cabin - not the well. Couldn't believe it, they were able to send us someone the next day! A+ thank you , this is what WNC folks are all about, rare to find good contractors of any kind these days.

If you need your existing well serviced, I'd recommend calling another company. I've spoken to the lady in their office 3 times. First she recommended I try something and it helped but didn't completely fix our issue. Second time I was told someone would reach out to schedule the service. After a few weeks, I called and left a message after hours. I received a call back from a gentleman but I missed the call and he left voicemail. I called back and again spoke to the lady in the office. I explained that maybe there was some miscommunication but I need someone to come check our well. Again told someone would reach out to schedule. This was several weeks ago again. This morning at 8am, I called another company. By 11:30am today they were here and working on repairing our well. I understand some small companies get too busy but good communication is key. Sad thing is they came recommended from a plumber friend. I'll be sure to let him know they he shouldn't recommend them any longer.

This is a Stellar company. Our well pump went out over the weekend. They returned our call first thing Monday morning, and were at our house before noon. Within 2 hours water was flowing. The crew and office staff are very courteous and their service is fairly priced. This is our 2nd time using Clyde Sawyer & Son, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

A very nice Family Business. They got me out of a mess that i got into trying to do my own repairs. I lost my pump down in the well. Right before a scheduled out of town trip.
Quickly, and relatively painless,(except for my pride) which they were considerate of, they retrieved my pump, and got me back up and running.
Lesson learned. and I know who to call for great service and reliable work.

Update! 9 years later, pump quit. (Serving 2 homes), made the call, same day replacement. Excellent service, sincere customer service. Setting the bar for all businesses in this area.

Really good experience with this family owned & operated company. They gave an honest assessment and made my dad feel at ease, even though the advice they gave didn’t benefit them financially. Really nice to know they’re honest, companies out there! Highly recommended.

My husband and I recently had a well drilled by this wonderful company and we could not be happier with the results. Our well water tastes so good ! They went out of their way to get our job completed and our well up and running. Everyone of their employees were helpful and did a great job. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I cannot say enough about this company. They are the ultimate professionals and deliver incredible customer service and satisfaction. They recently helped me through a difficult situation above and beyond what is typical of a commercial business. They are actually human. My well works were run over by a delivery service. They came out and repaired in under 2 hours. Then patiently waited for offending delivery service to pay. I cannot thank them enough.
