The Carolina Mountains Literary Festival in Burnsville, NC takes place the weekend after Labor Day.
Conrad has been our AV person for several years. The Festival takes place in venues all around the Burnsville Town Square. Conrad is tasked to set up AV in a variety of settings( some small, some large, some auditoriums, some local stores) with a variety of needs, MACS, PC's, a variety of adapter, venue and author needs. While he endeavors to have everything in place before the sessions ( there can be 2 or 3 at the same time and up to 8 each day) sometimes there is what we call a "glitch". With smiles and acumen, Conrad responds quickly and efficiently to respond to both the technical and the personal needs of the authors. We hope he continues to be part of the Carolina Mountains Literary Festival every September. Kathy Weisfeld, Festival Chair His presence makes the festival run smoothly.
