What a wonderful store! It really feels like a museum where you’re allowed and encouraged to interact with everything. I played a mandolin from 1918 that was gorgeous, so cool to noodle on an instrument with that much history. My husband ended up loving a new guitar handmade by a local luthier, and we were very glad to spend money at Lowe. Total downtown gem in Burlington. Well worth a visit!
What a gem in the middle of Historic Burlington. The shop pulls you in and makes you feel at home. Very well organized and comfortable. All the instruments are set up for playing making it easy to flit from one to another until you find one you can't put down.
Mr. Lowe is an amazing guy, very relaxed and helpful.
