I always knew we had it good with AHOB, I just didn't know how good. We recently had to move out of the area and find a new vet. By comparison to what I'm seeing here, AHOB spoiled us. They did thorough exams, checked vaccines and kept great records. When we would walk in the front door, we were always greeted pleasantly and with smiles. We (myself, wife and nine pets over the years) never felt ignored or neglected.
We can't say enough good things about this practice. We started years ago with Dr. Johnson and are so pleased with the high-quality and kind veterinarians and technicians that have been brought on board over the years. My dog had bone cancer and Dr. Chesnutt made an excellent recommendation for a surgeon who could perform the procedure. They were straightforward about procedures, costs, options, and prognosis. AHoB continued to provide care and answer questions until it became clear we needed to let him go. The euthanasia appointment was peaceful, not rushed, and everyone was so kind. I also really appreciated that they let us settle the bill another day.

Dr. Chestnutt and the entire team are AMAZING! We have been taking our senior pup there for several years and have never had a bad experience. They are thorough, empathetic, and understanding. They do not encourage unnecessary testing and listen to owners' concerns. Our last visit, Dr. Chestnutt thoroughly went through what was going on with our pup and even helped with a diagram. I have had several emergent issues, and they have seen my pup as quickly as possible; every time, it was the same day. We love that we found a vet that we can trust with our baby!
