The staff was very friendly and the bag guy was hilarious.. The course was beautiful on a hot 4th of July. I gave it 3 stars because the greens were in rough condition. Judging by the cups, it looked as though they were cut over a week ago. The greens took ot from 4 stars to 3 because as we all know that’s probably the most important thing on a golf course.

This is the second time I have played and had a pretty good experience the first time but today was a different experience. I get there and go to check in at the clubhouse, the gentleman at the counter didn’t even say good morning and said what party am I with. I told him and he said cash or credit. I advised him credit and then the machine Rang up 100 dollars.. I said why is it 100 dollars? He said that’s what it cost here to play. I said it was so much cheaper the last time I played. I advised him I am local and he said … I can’t read your mind. I stated to him that you never asked me. Then he said he shouldn’t have to ask and that I should have told him. He got upset because he had to void the transaction. Never apologized or said thank you. Was very rude. I should have left. This day was 100 degrees and very busy. Our tee time was 8:15 and we didn’t tee off until 8:30. There was no water coolers on any holes. Then only saw the cart lady 2 times and never had any water. Wow in a 100 degree day and no water. I play golf just about every weekend on different courses and I will never ever come back here and I will not recommend this course to anyone. For 100 dollars, you should treat your customers very nicely and at least have water coolers or water on the cart lady that comes by. Started the round at 8:30 and didn’t finish until 1 pm.

Do not waste your money. The guys unloading bags was very rude and acted like he hated he had to be there. Go on to the started who says “the greens are really fast, rolling at a 10 today” they were honestly around a 5-6 and in bad shape. Not cut, not rolled and the holes were grown around and not in good shape at all. The course is a beautiful design and could be a great track. It’s $100 to play and I could see the potential for it but in the current shape it’s a $40 track. I won’t be back but I do hope they fix the course and their employees attitudes.

What a transformation. The bar and grill look and function great. Bar seating comfortable and well thought out. High tops mixed with traditional tables + outdoor seating.
Food - light years better than our previous visit (1+years). Signature burger beefy and cooked to perfection, fries crispy, pickle crunchy and tart. Fish fried beautifully and house made onion rings so darn good.
Sorry Southport, more of our future going out spend is going right here. We will be back, often.

A delightful experience from start to finish!! Staff is friendly and welcoming, and players are staggered as not to feel rushed! Ice ready to fill your cart cooler right outside a snack bar, a lovely bartender making your favorite to-go beverage, fairways are beautiful, and the dining experience post-game was fantastic. Would highly recommend and will be returning soon!

I was pleasantly surprised how nice and welcoming everyone was. The course was wonderful. The greens had been plugged a couple days before but overall, a great experience! Highly recommend!!

Played on 5/22 and after paying in clubhouse we met a member in the parking lot. He stated the greens were horrible and hoped we weren't charge the full amount due to the conditions. We were charged $67 to play on shitty greens, they were awful! Should have atleast told us how bad the greens were before paying. Staff in clubhouse should let people know how bad the greens were.
