South Point Pet Hospital

We’ve taken our pup to South Point Vet for the past four years, and we’re so grateful for the care we’ve received. Dr. D’Amelio has always been patient, thorough, and incredibly kind. I’ve asked more questions than I can count, and she has never made me feel rushed or silly for asking.

What I appreciate most is how committed they are to figuring things out when something isn’t right. They truly take the time to get to the bottom of it. On two different occasions, they even fit us in right away when we were worried, which meant everything in the moment.

It’s clear they genuinely care about the animals they treat. I wouldn’t trust my dog anywhere else.

Finally a reasonable, intelligent, patient and caring veterinarian. Geezzz!! Charlotte has been really tough to find a “normal” pet loving vet like we’ve been used to. We’ve gone to four or five. 45 years of strays and rescues mostly black. They make extremely loyal pets without exception for our family.
We will be loyal clients to these honest people.

Have been going here for many years but things clearly changed after they were acquired by a large corporation, one that also bought out some other local vet practices. The docs and techs are still kind and competent. But unfortunately, with less competition, prices went way up and there's a more aggressive emphasis on revenue. It's not just your friendly local vet now, it's a huge corporation based in Florida. They still take good care of your pet, but be cautious of expensive recommendations.

Amazing from beginning to end! Ease of scheduling, friendly staff, and attentive Veterinarian. I was able to schedule an appointment for Neko and she was treated as if she was family by the assistant and vet. I had a lot of questions that were answered well. Thank you Dr. Jenkins and Vicki for an amazing first time appointment. She is doing much better! We will be returning to this location for any additional services needed.

We take our little dog and cat here and absolutely love the people and service. They always take the time with you. You can tell they genuinely care.

This is hands down the best pet hospital in the area. From the front desk to the Veterinarians, they are all so caring and engaging. You can tell they want whats best for your pet. Could not be happier with their service!

The staff at South Point Pet Hospital are top notch! They are compassionate and caring people and took very good care of my partner K9 Ziva and my blue heeler Charlie. Hands down the best Vet Belmont has to offer.

I took my very nervous dog in for her first visit at South Point Pet Hospital to have her ears checked after scratching them for a few days. She was so afraid, hiding behind me and under tables and chairs, but everyone was so kind and gentle with her. I really appreciated the care they took to try to make it an easy visit for my girl, and they explained everything thoroughly. Thank you all so much and we will be back for her future needs!
