I love practicing at Belmont Yoga. After being away from the mat for several years, it was a challenge to begin again. The BY community is so welcoming and I'm thankful that Michelle and Cory brought this gem to the community. Come join us!

I never thought I’d be the type to do Pilates or hot yoga – or to get up early and exercise before work – but Belmont Yoga has me out here changing my perspective! Pilates seemed intimidating at first, but the teachers (Aletheia and Reeves) are welcoming and don’t push you to keep up. They’re always encouraging you to listen to your body and do the moves you want to do. Everyone I’ve met in class is friendly and they’re from all walks of life. I never feel judged, even when I’m just laying on my mat taking a rest during our workout (which is absolutely encouraged). I had my third class tonight and being brand new to yoga, I’ve always been very intimidated to begin. Michelle (and the other instructors) have been so welcoming and they all do an amazing job of explaining the poses and the proper breathing techniques to ensure you don’t injure yourself and really get settled into the class. I look forward to continuing my yoga journey at Belmont Yoga!
