I recently had cataract surgery on both eyes over a period of two weeks. Of course, when the thought of having surgery on your eyes, you naturally have anxiety. I have to say I was extremely happy with the entire process from start to finish. The two surprising things I experienced was the surgery itself was extremely fast, with no pain and the fact I now see better than when I wore glasses. First class operation. Thank You Dr. Karo. I went to WNC Ophthalmology for cataract treatment. My experience with them could not have been better. Dr. Karo and the staff are competent, efficient and friendly. They treated me like an individual, and I never once felt like I was on some sort of medical conveyor belt. I was able to get an initial appointment and schedule surgery quickly -- it took ten days from the time my optometrist gave me the referral until I had surgery on my first eye.
