For my "mid-life awakening" I sold my house and moved to Asheville specifically to attend WNCSOM. (I toured several schools in NC and THIS was the school that checked all the boxes and just felt right!) I was incredibly anxious as you can imagine to start over in a new city and a new career. I am SO GRATEFUL I landed at WNCSOM. It was the perfect place for me at the perfect time. All of the instructors are amazing. Supportive, smart, kind...like having your very own cheer team leading you on, believing in you and teaching you all you could ever imagine learning! Hope DeVall is an amazing leader and human. I attended WNCSOM from May 2022 to May 2023. I was extremely nervous coming into this. Everyone here made me feel like a belonged. There was never a time that I felt like I didn’t belong. This school truly changed me in ways I couldn’t imagine. For that I am forever grateful. The program itself is amazing. I felt so prepared for the day that I took my MBLEX.
