Queer Friendly - Trans Inclusive - this is the spot for you!!I just moved to Asheville a few weeks ago and l did a lot of research on different barbers in the area. I kept seeing Blackbird barber popping up. So decided to go for it for my first Asheville haircut!The space was very cool and welcoming! Being trans and nonbinary it can feel intimidating going into new spaces especially getting my haircut. I never once felt rushed. Ash was very approachable and took her time with me. I showed her some pictures that I was going for and not only did she understand the assignment she absolutely CRUSHED it!! I have definitely found my barber here in Asheville!
I love love love Ash!! She is incredible and I love my haircut from her!!! The whole vibe of this barber shop is amazing and I will absolutely be recommending this place to friends!!Requested style: Shag/wolf cut
I've never felt happier leaving a barbershop then after coming here. Just a warm atmosphere with people who care about their craft, and I learned how to better take care of my curls.
