“Half Moon Hollow did a superb job of rebuilding my garage after it was damaged by trees falling on and into it by Hurricane Helene. Kevin is an excellent communicator and always kept us informed. He is extremely pleasant to work with and seems to always be in an upbeat positive mood. He was always just a text away when I had questions. The construction was top-notch and the painting and detailing were excellent. The crews were hard-working, pleasant and polite. Kevin went out of his way to find light fixtures for the garage that would be as good replacement for what was there before the damage (actually the new ones are better!). I would highly recommend them for your construction and remodeling projects.“

“My mom and aunt once told me they believed hiring an interior designer to help furnish your home would ultimately save you money and make your home far more aesthetically pleasing, especially if you're design challenged.

So when my husband and I purchased a vacation rental home, I signed up for a half-day consultation with Hearth + Home. Left to my own devices, I knew I’d fill it with a hodge podge of furnishings and decor that didn’t form a cohesive palette, which wouldn’t be as pleasing to our guests.

Courtney and Amber (her lead designer) met me at the home first. They were warm and friendly, and it was amazing to watch their minds work as they walked through each room, giving me countless suggestions that I would have never thought of myself. But the real magic came a few days later in the form of a PDF file with design boards of furnishings, paint color and decor suggestions for each room, even including the bathrooms and hall! I was blown away by how beautiful everything looked on paper, and I knew it would make the house a showcase in reality.

My tight, pesky budget did not allow me to purchase every item they recommended, but Courtney was patient with my questions in our followup correspondence. She even helped me choose between a few less expensive alternatives I found. I found it helpful to upload photos of the alternate pieces I found into a Canva file for Courtney to review and comment on, versus just sending her links to the products.

Working with Courtney and Amber was positively delightful. My mom and aunt were right after all, and I can’t wait to hire Hearth + Home for my personal residence next for a much needed refresh!“

“I was referred to PBI for our residential windows to be replaced. I wasn't aware that they did that kind of work. I learned about their preferred line of windows from Sun and stopped in. We met Brian Hutchinson who came out to our house, a long way out to our house. He put a great quote together that was surprising and we went with Brian. Unfortunately, this was during the supply chain problems but Brian kept us informed and we actually got delivery at an ideal time (January followed by the installation week in February with 70+ degeree weather) and in went the windows.
