Last Fall for no reason my lower back went out while I was waiting to have major surgery for diverticulitis. During that surgery the position I was in, put a huge strain on my hip and back. The surgery went well but my back and hip were so painful all I could do was walk in the pool at Cambridge Fitness and even that hurt. Luckily for me Wake Med has a Physical Therapy office there. My doctor referred me for physical therapy and I started seeing Meredith K. I have other health issues and she was so patient and caring. I've been working with Kris Wolfe on balance and stability. I don't like to exercise, but Kris's gentle persistence kept me going through my therapy. My balance and strength has improved greatly. Now all I have to do is somehow keep up my exercise without her!
