Mako is the only nail tech I know in the area that specializes in Japanese gel manicures. I’ve gotten the paragel and structure gel manicures with Mako and they’ve all turned out beautifully every time and lasted around 4-6 weeks. When I bring nail design inspiration pictures to show Mako, she’s able to bring them to life exactly how I want them. Mako is very meticulous with the nail prep to make sure the base is perfect and the manicure lasts as long as possible without damaging my nails. She also repairs/extends broken nails and you can’t even tell afterwards that it was broken. Mako is super friendly and easy to chat with as well. If you haven’t tried a Japanese...read full review
I found Mako by using the Dazzle Dry website because I was having trouble finding a salon that used that specific polish. I was so happy to find Mako! My manicure experience was top notch. I can’t wait to go back. Mako was attentive to detail, thorough, and made sure every nail looked perfect. Her studio was very clean. I highly recommend skipping the traditional nail salon and seeing Mako for healthier nails 💅
This is a one person business. I love that. Mako's a perfectionist with my nails. She studies them to make them sized and shaped equally. Although she has the usual polish and gel, I get Dazzle Dry. It looks like gel and lasts for 2-3 weeks or more. I am fine with a little nail growth because it doesn't chip like other nail polish. You don't have to use that red drying machine and it dries very quickly. It's really amazing. My nails are much healthier since finding Mako about a year ago. I fully recommend her and my friends that have gotten their nails done by her are now regulars.
