“Shield Pest Defense is located in Missoula and my carpenter ant infested house is in Bigfork. My desperate phone conversation with one of the owners was at about 5PM and we discussed the travel compensation which was reasonable and the fixed rate for our 1600 SF house was also reasonable. What convinced me to hire them was their agreement to be at my house at 10AM the following morning! Steve, one of the owners, went right to work after I showed them where the ants were mostly congregated. He determined using heat sensing equipment that there was no nest in the walls or ceiling! He then found the source and house entry point which was behind a pile of construction wood I was saving and had stacked against the foundation! Steve sprayed the foundation all around the house and inside too. The next day as I was warned, some very slow moving ants needed vacuuming. 2 days later I found no ants! I was very happy with their work, the price, and their professionalism!“

“These guys saved our butts when we suspected we had a bed bug infestation at our new rental 5 days before we were supposed to go on vacation.
