Alder Street Studio is an organic salon and private studio that takes one client at a time. It is charming and a great space. The stylist is the only Oway certified stylist in Montana, offering truly organic haircare with awesome organic products, including a reusable shampoo and conditioner program to create less waste. The stylist is described as the best for miles around, incredible, a gem, an amazing person, and a terrific stylist with incredible customer service and a polite, delightful demeanor. Clients report a great, relaxing experience where they feel in good hands. The stylist is kind, attentive, has oodles of organic haircare knowledge, listens genuinely, and cares about the hair's outcome. Services include haircuts, where the stylist will cut only a centimeter or less for a trim, hair coloring without ammonia, and magical, wicked highlights. The stylist can effortlessly envision and create the perfect color. Treatments like the infrared keratin treatment work wonders. The experience includes delightful head massages during the wash. Clients travel from far away and would never want to visit another salon, highly recommending the studio for future cuts, treatments, and hair products.
I wish I could give 10 stars, because Marla is the best hair stylist for miles around! I actually travel from Manhattan, NY to see Marla because her work is incredible and I truly enjoy her as a person. It took me MONTHS to find a truly organic salon and since Marla is the only Oway certified stylist in Montana, it's a no-brainer to do business with someone making a difference. Marla is the only stylist I've ever met who will genuinely cut about a centimeter of hair or less when you tell her you want a trim. Marla and her charming space were the perfect way to start my day! I experienced the infrared keratin treatment and it worked wonders on my hair ♡ Marla was kind, attentive, and had oodles of organic haircare knowledge that I was craving. I fell in love with the sample shampoo and conditioner she gave me and I will be back for hair products and future cuts/treatments!
Marla is a gem! An amazing person, and a terrific stylist. The organic products are a welcome change from ammonia laden color. Great space, and she takes one client at a time in her private studio. Great experience!
