“We were traveling and hiking in the area. We were able to get in with an hours notice for a couples massage on a weekend. My wife has had trouble with some other massage spas being too aggressive and bruising her from too much pressure. The relaxing massage was just that, relaxing. It worked out some tension on her shoulders, and the was the perfect firmness for her. She even took a short nap while getting her feet massaged. I usually do a deeper massage, but I also went with the relaxing massage. It was gentler, but not just a rub down. A very good systematic massage. We did not get their names, but the ladies were very professional, communicated very well, and were very gracious. Some places the language barrier gets in the way, and there is pressure for more tip regardless of how much tip was given. We gave what we believe to be a fair tip and they said thank you and seemed grateful. They gave us a tour of the Japanese room, and the deep massage room with rails for barefoot massage.
I may be back in a few weeks on a motorcycle ride, I might stop to experience one of the more aggressive massages.“
