Few weeks ago I had to put my 10yr old chocolate lab down and I requested the at home euthanization so that he'd be comfortable in his own bed when it happened.The two ladies that came into our home were patient and comforting about the whole thing. Between introduction, getting comfortable, the shot, and the leaving process. It couldn't of went any more smoothly. Got the ashes back in less than a week in a nice box(see photo) and paw print(also see photo).I'm sorry I can't remember the ladies names, was a bad day. But highly recommended.

I was worried my dog broke his femur and the emergency vet was not yet open. So, I called every vet around whitefish to have him quickly looked at and stabilized. No other vet in the northern valley agreed to see my dog because I was not a previous client or because their veterinarian was on a lunch break.. (I called 5 in the northern Valley) Thankfully, I got ahold of Ponderosa Vet and they told me they could see my dog immediately. It was clear they had a busy day with scheduled appointments. I am deeply thankful for this clinic and everyone there, from front desk staff, vet techs and the vets there. They took my sweet boy, Sammy the cat in as a brand new client on an emergency basis when he got terribly ill about a year or so ago. No other clinic that I called would see him unless he was an established patient. So discouraging and scary. Ponderosa vet squeezed Sammy in that same hour and took their time treating him and explaining everything to me until I was comfortable with everything they wanted to do for him.
