The weekend after Christmas 2025 and our 4 year old Cavapoo, Duncan, suddenly became very lethargic, was vomiting and not able to poop. We tried to get him to eat a bit of rice and chicken but no luck getting him to eat or drink. We called Dr. Edgren at home, explained the situation and although he himself was ill and was on holiday he agreed to meet us the next day at the clinic. After almost 2 hours of examining Duncan, taking X-rays, giving Duncan an antibiotic shot and doing IV hydration we took Duncan home, hoping for improvement. Very caring staff. Clean facilities. They go out of their way to make sure your pet doesn't interact with other pets (alternate entrance to keep them separated). My dog has leash aggression and gets upset when around other dogs. Dr. Edgren takes time to talk with you and answer questions. I never feel rushed.

Dr. Edgren literally saved our dog's life last week (truly, emergency surgery). The entire staff at Big Sky Animal Clinic is so nice and caring, on top of being experts at what they do. Can't say enough great things about Dr. Edgren and his staff!
