This is a review for Big Sky Plumbing & Heating but first some context.
What a week. Lost my Rx glasses right before my work trip to Chicago, get delayed on the way home, arriving at midnight Wednesday instead of noon, and then today, went to take a shower only to step into a cold waterfall (H2O heater took a ?). Ran the dishwasher last night with no problem, but no hot water this morning.
So after some frustrating phone conversations with the manufacturer, I reached out to Big Sky Plumbing & Heating to see if they would give me a second opinion, as the manufacturer told me my thermostat/gas valve was shot and HAD to be replaced.
My sewage ejector pump failed and they replaced it. I give them 5 stars for fixing the problem, 5 stars for making time for me quickly, and 5 stars for being clean in my house. I give them 1star for billing wasted time. Overall, they get 3 stars.
Here is why they lost stars. I accurately told them on the phone that my ejector pump stopped working, and I expected them to come prepared to replace it. Their technician came to my house without a replacement. I got billed an extra hour because he needed to go back to the office to get a pump.

We have used Big Sky Plumbing for 20 years for jobs big and small, urgent and not urgent, on a 140 year old victorian - I would guess at least 1-2 dozen times. Our experience with them has been excellent - responsive, timely, professional, and always installed well or fixed to our satisfaction. Today we had a sewer line backing up to both a bathroom and kitchen, all manner of yucky smelly stuff - just as family visitors were to arrive for the Christmas holiday. Even though booked up for the day, they reached out and found a pro to send to us immediately. Correctly diagnosed where the blockage was and had it resolved in less than an hour.
