Yesterday I had the pleasure of having Zoey, an apprentice at Iridescent Tattoo work on a remembrance piece of my beloved cat Tiki that I had lost after 17 1/2 years. Besides being incredibly kind and patient, Zoey was also very professional throughout the entire process! She made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted and even tweaked a couple of aspects on the spot upon my request. She was even able to work with ease as the image was upside down to her. I appreciated her efforts to not only communicate with me, but to also actively listen and take constructive feedback as we went along in our session together! I unfortunately experienced a pregnancy loss. Jordon was able to squeeze me in days later. It just so happened to be national pregnancy and infant loss day. He was so kind and considerate. Above that, I wanted a simple line tattoo and he couldn’t have executed it any cleaner. 1000/10. So very grateful.
I have seen a lot of work from this shop, amd Jay (the owner) in particular. His realism is amazing, and I spent a good amount of time in his chair getting a very detailed tattoo.
I get compliments on my tattoo all the time and it just makes it even more worth it.
Something I would like to note- working with Jay is PERFECT for people who struggle with small talk. I really enjoy that I never felt weird just relaxing and watching the TV or being on my phone while he concentrated. I felt very comfortable in the space and highly recomemd it.
