Could not be more impressed with Gallatin Vet Hospital. I mistakenly made an online appointment for my Mom's elderly dog for the same day when it was actually the next day. My Mom has Alzheimer's, so it would have been a big inconvenience to have to bring her and her dog back the next day. GVH was very gracious about squeezing us in. Dr Fritsche was compassionate in understanding the extenuating circumstances for treatment, given Mom's dementia and limited funds. After he took her very shy dog from the room for his eye exam, her dog kept wanting to be near him (yes, there were treats involved, but clearly her shy dog really liked the doctor!). I moved here from Philly and have been struggling to get my cats hyperthyroidism under control. Dr. reto was so kind, thorough, and patient. He listened to each of my concerns and we addressed every issue. If he didn't know something he took the time to look it up and even called a cat internist doctor to confirm his plan was correct. He treated my cat with love and was so gentle. I spent about 3 hours there with my cat while we discussed the plan, and did blood work. He was honest about was appropriate for my cat. My cat needed updated vaccines but he told me to wait because of my cats fever and he didn't feel it was appropriate for todays visit. He also discussed... read full review

I can’t say enough about this place. I’ve been taking my puppy here since she was just born and we’ve gone through the spaying process as well as an accidental broken toe. They have done an amazing job with the splint.
The staff is so friendly and they’re reasonable and upfront about their prices!
