The medical staff might be okay but the customer service is abysmal. Rather than being friendly and helpful, they are very argumentative and not willing to go the extra mile. I could not get them to verify my insurance benefits vs. out-of-pocket expenses. They did not call me back when they promised. I was extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone. Overall, I was very disappointed by the service and for that reason I do not recommend them.

I was pleased to find an urgent care that specialized in orthopedic care as my knee was in bad shape after a lot of traveling. When I arrived they told me that it was going to be 1.5 hour but I could leave and they would call when my slot came up which is great. By the time I finished the paperwork the wait was down to about 15 minutes and they saw me even before that. They we very nice and efficient. Told me that it was arthritis and gave me a shot. I deducted one star as they neglected to tell me that there was a chance of short term inflammation and a good amount of pain. It came on about 2 hours after I got home. I googled it and it said it generally subsides in 24 - 48 hours which it did after 12 hours. The end result was good, but a heads up would have been good.

I went to see Dr. Robinson at Bridger Orthopedic for bad plantar fasciitis, and it was a complete waste of my time and money. I have never felt so rushed at a doctor's appointment in my entire life, and the doctor did not take the time to do a thorough patient interview to discuss my foot problems that have plagued me for the past 8 months. They did x-rays, he spent about 10 minutes with me and basically told me to get custom orthotics and steroid injections ( I already knew those were options- you would think a foot and ankle specialist would have more tools than that). No other options offered. Physical therapy has been MUCH MORE helpful, and the PTs take the time to ask thorough questions about my specific issues and address me as an individual human. I felt unseen and dismissed at Bridger Orthopedic and it was a total waste of $360.

I'm so fortunate my primary care Physician recommended Bridger Orthopedic. From their kind folks in the lobby, the X-ray and MRI techs to Dr. Compton's meticulous and thorough approach, all very much appreciated. This Veteran will highly recommend.

My son was seen for elbow dislocation on a Friday ( we were originally supposed to be going over the MRI results they had received previously ) with torn ligaments on either side of his elbow. The first assistant we seen told us that this is Typically always Surgically reconstructed, and there were three surgeons, but they were all in surgery and none had reviewed MRI.(but we where There to go over the results) she Needed to reschedule us for the next Monday. We go back they get more x-rays, even though they’ve already had an MRI numerous x-rays. The surgeon Came into the room and continued to tell us that this was a non-surgical Injury, and that he needed to see Their arm specialist. When asked about all the options, she proceeded to say “if I didn’t think this was the best option I wouldn’t have said it.” When asked what the probability that his arm Would actually heal itself She said she didn’t actually know the numbers. But was quick to schedule an appointment for the next week. To check in?!?
She reassured us He did not need splinted or a brace And just to take it easy. Hes a guy! Who does construction There’s not a whole Lotta easy in that job. We told her this, and she said that she would just check back And we can go from there. No dr note nothing but more appointments=more money! He was seen today at Alpine orthopedic, and was given All The resources we needed. They went above and beyond Scheduled Him with Physical Therapist And wrote a prescription for a brace that was very much needed. I called Bridger’s billing department and requested that our previous bill from that appointment be taken off, since none of the results were discussed whatsoever at that appointment, and we were essentially just rescheduled, which all could’ve been done over the phone. Unfortunately My chart was more helpful Than the actual person who talked with us unfortunately. That being said, I’m still waiting to see if they’re going to Charge us for a visit that we learned nothing from. When I asked them when I could expect a call or information about this bill The gal billing said I really have no idea it’s up to the Dr. If they’re even willing to Discuss And resolve this charge.

If I could give 0 I would. Impersonal, dismissive, and factory output like. Awful. Waste of time and money.

This would have been my second time to Bridger Orthopedic but when after breaking my leg I was only offered an appt 2 weeks out or 6 weeks out. I didn't want to have a broken leg for two or more weeks before any treatment so I went elsewhere. Maybe this is a result of increased people in bozo but I think we need more medical options.

Back in late Feb. 2017, I was struck on my mountain bike by a hit and run driver, and left for dead. When I got to Bozeman Deaconess, Dr. Ben Smith was the physician on duty. My C-5 and C-6 were broken and I was taken into surgery. Dr. Smith did a marvelous job with the fusion, and constantly administering to my recovery. I cannot thank him enough for all he did to surgically repair the damage in my neck and spine. He is truly a fantastic Dr., surgeon and individual.

Ok....2.5 maybe. I went in there with knee pain, pre-surgery PT. I was seen very quickly but the treatment was nothing I expected. Jason poked my knee a few times and asked me what hurt. He then came back with a syringe ands a cortisone injection. Everything was fine until it wasn't!!! I received zero follow up instruction at all. I felt fine so I thought I could do a light peloton low impact spin. 2 hours later I could barely walk from the pain. Next time give the patients follow up instructions so they know what they can and can't do!!!!!!
