Zak Jokela Wedding Photography

Zak was absolutely wonderful on taking the time to get to know us as a couple and pick up our vibe. That truly translated into the pictures. While we were nervous you couldn’t tell at all. He made things so easy and made sure we didn’t end up with stiff looking pictures, even when posing with family.

We hired Zak for my daughter’s wedding after considering quite a few other photographers. His photo quality was very evident and my daughter said he was the man for the job! He was so much fun but very professional at the same time. He worked so hard to capture every possible moment and the end result was awesome! My daughter and the rest of the family all agree we could not have imagined anyone else doing the quality job Zak did. Thanks Zak!!

Zak did my senior photos and did an amazing job. He made me feel super comfortable and normally I feel super uncomfortable and put under pressure during photos like this so I appreciated it a lot. He was great with telling me how to pose and all around just an amazing experience as well as the pictures turned out great!! I don’t even know where to begin on my experience. IT WAS INCREDIBLE BEYOND BELIEF! This is not an exaggeration. Zak was the most amazing photographer I have ever met. He made everything seem so effortless. It seemed like her was everywhere and getting pictures of everything. You noticed him but it was more like smoke. You see him but then he’s gone and you thought maybe it was a trick of the light. He got photos I didn’t even realize he got. Moments of our wedding that we will treasure forever. He captured our wedding and reception exactly how we discussed and more. He became an honorary part of our family because of how wonderful he is. We couldn’t thank him more. He got so many perfect photos that we had a hard time choosing which ones to have printed. Everyone that attended our wedding couldn’t say enough great things about him. He is the only photographer I would ask to capture important moments in our life from now on. Thank you thank you thank you.

Zak is sincerely an amazing photographer! He genuinely dedicates his time to taking the best photos possible. Not only that, but just as he arrived, he saved the day when my veil was falling out and needed extra bobby pins - and also had double-sided tape for my dress! He took special request photos for others (even my friend later commented on how he made her feel included - when she asked the groom for a selfie together, Zak insisted that he take a photo for them too!). He was kind and easy-going but kept things organized in a way we all appreciated so much; he also worked through any and all bumps that came up, including people that absolutely hate photos taken of them lol. He truly went above and beyond, even going so far as to stay later than initially planned for us to make sure we got the photos we wanted most and more. We were both blown away by how wonderful Zak was. He truly added so much to our special day. We've so far received some sneak-peek photos, and we have no doubt that the rest will be just as perfect as the ones we've seen so far. Seriously, if you're in need of a photographer, please choose Zak!!!!

Zak was an incredible photographer. He was kind, personable, and enthusiastic. My wedding dress clasp broke and Zak immediately calmed everyone down and fixed it. He engaged with the kids that were present and was attentive to all details of our day. He was a goof ball as well(photo for proof) Zak was very organized and really kept the show going! Zak was our photographer for our wedding. He was so transparent and organized!! Which took a huge weight off my shoulders. My favorite thing about him is that he captured everyone. We both have a huge family, which made me feel like i missed out on a lot of moments that i was else were. He never sat down the whole day. He ran his butt off, taking pictures nonstop.
