My first trip to Clover Haven was a little more than 2 years ago when this little “stray-ish” dog came to my house after being attacked by a very large dog and was needing emergency care. The two vet offices in Pontotoc that were just a few minutes away wouldn’t see him because it was 4:30 in the afternoon and they were going to be closing soon. One of them actually told me to call other places and find someone who will see him. Luckily, Clover Haven was the “on call” vet that week in Tupelo so that’s where we ended up.. Dr. Stephenson waited for my 45 minute drive to get there and took care of the little guy right away. They took such good care of Peanut, I switched vet clinics and started taking all of my animals there. A few months after that, Dr. Stephenson performed surgery on my pup Clyde when Clyde decided to eat one of his toys and it got stuck in his belly and wouldn’t pass. Later that year, Dr. Moore helped me say goodbye to my sweet Sadie. A few months ago, they saved my older cat when she stopped eating and drinking. In addition to annual visits and emergencies, we’ve been through heart worm treatments, spays, neuters, allergic reactions, cuts, itchy skin, and cancer tests. All of the doctors that I’ve interacted the last 2+ years all seem to really care about my animals. They ask questions, they listen, they don’t mind explaining things. Dr. Schroller is newer to the clinic and for my last few visits, my fur babies had the pleasure of having her treat them. She gets down on the floor on their level to bond with them and makes them comfortable before starting their checkups. And I can’t finish my review without mentioning Savanna. She is often the buffer between the front desk and the vets. She’s always smiling and happy to be there and she is so kind to the animals and they just love her! Clover Haven would not be the same without Savanna! Highly recommend 100% !
