    Service was fast. They do have a habit of telling customers one price over the phone but quoting something else once they finish.

    Suzanne, the owner installed distress locks. She completed at her estimated time she quoted over the phone. She was very courteous and pleasant, I didn’t feel a thing while she was braiding, it wasn’t too tight when she was done & they are super cute waist length. On a scale of 1-10, she gets a 15! ?Service: Braids

    The 2-stars are simply due to skill set. I have been a customer of theirs for more than 10 years and their service is getting worst not better. It was poor to begin with but I think we all just became accustomed to that because of cultural differences. The braiders over the years have changed at Bb's, which I believe is primarily due to some of them beginning their own shops or transitioning to other areas. Needless to say there has been no consistency in the braiders over the years with the exception of the lady who owns the salon. They do consistently have very neat work, this is something you can depend on! What they do incorrectly is all rooted in a lack of customer service. They act as if they do not understand cultural or business norms of generally being nice, showing concern for issues that customers bring to their attention, and managing more customers while having less braiders. It's absolutely too expensive of a service to not get what you're asking for due to language barriers and minimal efforts on the braiders part to try and look at the photos given and replicate a style. Or to have to leave a deposit of $50-$100 because they are unable to do your hair when you arrive. It's senseless to me that they continue to have a first come, first serve environment when the demand for braids is so great. I'm positive customers would appreciate having an appointment versus driving miles to their salon to only see that two other people are standing at the door waiting for them to open and only one braider opens the shop. You seriously just have to take your chances with these ladies. Formal classes in the English language, gestures, business planning and development, and general courses on customer service can really help them. I won't be returning. I plan to try and find braiders that can understand me when I speak and really try to get better over time.

    I went to BBs hair braiding on 5/17. They had me to be there at 10 but one of the ladies never showed up. I literally had to sit over 2hrs. The head lady started on my head once she was finish with another head. I showed her what I wanted but she didn't want to do it. She did what she wanted to do. I notice the hair was coming all out the braids and it was all over. I sent her a picture but she never responded. I called the next day but she either had me block or kept sending me to voicemail. I had to get someone else to call to get through. Instead of her trying to fix the situation, she made every excuse it was. She tried faulting me for. How can I do this and today makes a week? All the money they charge, why would I do anything to mess my own head up. I will never go back and will never recommend they service to not one single human being!!!

    They are nice people. But my braids were a hot mess! I haven’t received any compliments when I usually do on my hair from other styles. People ask me did I do it myself which means it doesn’t look professionally done. Won’t be visiting again.
