I got my haircut by Samantha today. The cut was really nice and she took time to make sure that a previous bad cut was fixed. She is also a really fun person to talk to. The great reviews don't even do this place justice, I absolutely LOVED my experience here. I got a cut and tone from Jessie and she is nothing short of amazing. Seriously brought my hair back to life! Mary the owner is very warm and welcoming, this place really is a hidden gem! I would recommend it to anyone.

My review is for Jessica. She did a good job with the color (one tone color) and cut (short straight cut). So nothing fancy. Why 2 stars? I read here how "fun & nice" she is. So what was different with me? I am not sure if it's because I have sensitive scalp and told her to be gentle, or because I have accent and look middle eastern, or because I timed the coloring not to get my hair burned (because I had that experience before), or because her cat died. Whatever it is, I felt stressed the whole 1.5 hours I was there. She was not "fun & nice". In service industry, you have to be nice and smiling. We come to the salon to relax, to treat ourselves to something nice. So if you want to treat yourself, don't schedule with her. Note: she did not burn my head when blowdrying. I guess that's good.
