Family Health Center, Inc. (FHC) is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center located in Laurel, Sandersville, Taylorsville, and Waynesboro Mississippi. FHC serves all residents of Jasper, Jones, Smith, Clarke, and Wayne Counties. It offers a full range of services from Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Dental, and an in‑house Pharmacy, as well as many other services for the targeted population. FHC has been serving the area since 1986 and is recognized nationally for excellence by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The center’s mission is to provide the highest quality, lowest cost health care in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. Patients praise the care and the staff’s friendly and helpful attitude. The clinic is clean and easy to navigate between departments. Wait times are usually short, and the staff keeps patients informed. The mobile clinic, a state‑of‑the‑art 38‑foot unit, brings routine physicals, chronic disease management, immunizations, cancer screenings, the Ryan White Program, and PrEP services for HIV prevention to underserved areas. It is equipped for patients with mobility challenges. The dentist at FHC receives repeated praise for a good experience and great service. Pediatric patients have been seen since birth; a 6‑year‑old child said the doctor is a good doctor. The nurses and doctors listen carefully, find solutions, and refer patients when needed. The overall atmosphere is friendly, respectful, and focused on preventive medicine and community health. Patients appreciate the low cost and quality care. I highly recommend Dr. Phillips. She is a very passionate doctor. Most doctors don't take time out to listen to their patients but I'm a true witness to this lovely woman. She is a woman of God and she cares about her patients. Most doctors are in it for a pay check for a few minutes to walk in and walk out and not take the time out to listen to their patients not with Dr Phillips. She takes time out to find out what's going on with her patients and try to find solutions. If she can't find it she recommend you to someone who can. My kids been going since birth the oldest 24 years and youngest 6 years old and my kids definitely got great service, and we still are.My 6 year old just told me a few months ago while in the clinic Mom I love my doctor he's a good doctor! Comin from a 6 year old so what that tell u!! I appreciate All yall done for me and my family from Dr. To his Nurses 👋
