Dr Tolbert is the best!!! I have used him for over ten years. He will NOT perform a procedure unless it’s necessary. He makes sure to make you as comfortable as possible. I never dread a visit, even if he has do to a major procedure. I have many issues with certain topicals and numbing meds, but he works with me and gives me alternative choices. He knows what he is doing when having to place the needle for numbing meds. I never feel the stick!!! He also has the best bedside manner. He is sooo good with my kids and make them feel at ease. His entire staff is amazing as well. They all treat you like family. You can tell he loves his job and his employees. He is not in it for the money. He is truly meant to be a Dentist. I am so grateful to have him as a dentist. I don’t know what I’ll do when he retires. It’ll be a sad day.
Update: He retired and I miss him dearly. 🥺 He had BIG shoes to fill. There will never be another dentist like him.
I now use Dr. Starnes and he has been a really good dentist. I recommend seeing him at this clinic.
Update: Dr Starnes has left to open his own clinic. 🥹

Best dental experience I have ever had. All of the staff members were warm, welcoming and professional. I’m pretty anxious when it comes to dental appointments, but I felt comfortable throughout the entire visit, including placement of a crown. Dr McMahan was personable, professional and efficient. She explained the procedure clearly and what to expect afterwards. Just a positive experience all the way around.

Fast and easy to help me. Very polite and understanding. Follow up I give 1 star. When I tried calling them I could never get in and one of their assistants relaid messages for the doctor. A part malfunctioned and they tried charging me even more

The receptionist, Hannah, was so friendly and helpful when I scheduled a routine cleaning. My hygenist, Kaitlyn, was amazing and it was the first cleaning in all my 45 years that was pain free and my teeth came out sparkly clean to boot. I was scheduled for a couple of fillings and a crown today. I walked in very nervous and Dr. McMahan's assistant, Jesse, was very reassuring and calming and made sure I was comfortable the entire procedure. Dr. McMahan was great. She made my teeth beautiful and was equally as comforting explaining herself every step of the way. She was conservative with my treatment which I can certainly appreciate. I trust Midtown Dental and that says a lot coming from me. Thank you for your hard and excellent work. Job well done. See you soon!
