My mom was a patient on the second floor ( Gulfport) and I couldn't believe how rude the nurses were!! They DO NOT FOLLOW HIPPA RULES !! AND OFTEN TIMES I WOULD CALL TO SPEAK WITH MY MOTHER AND THE NURSES ON THE FLOOR (REANNA) WOULD ARGUE WITH ME ABOUT THEM GOING INTO HER ROOM TO PLACE THE PHONE SO SHE COULD REACH IT!!!! The phone and call light should always be in reach of the patient !!! So disappointed in the staff there!!!

Waiting for hours don't have nurses on board. The MD giving verbal diagnosis without assessment. I'm asmatic needed a treatment because my inhaler not doing the job. For her to tell me I don't need it!! Can't breath, coughing and watery eyes. So i asked if I can get swabbed again, she was like well you're already on day 5 nothing is going to change! Seriously?! What kind of medical professionalism! No wonder she didn't have nurses working! Really bad ethics! I left to get treated better elsewhere!! Don't come here!!!!

The worst health care system I ever dealt with. I am a patient, want to know how much is my copay for a chest X-ray. According to my insurance company, copay could be from $0-$200 depends on what kind of faculty, for the same chest X-ray. I call the first time, I explained to customer care person what I want to know so she can direct me to the right department/person. She had no patient, cut me off mid sentence few times. Finally sent me to someone that cannot tell me anything. I called again, just asked for business office. But the customer service person wanted me to explain everything I need and tell me they are owned by Singing River Hospital only partner with Ochsner. I am just a senior patient, don’t know and don’t care how your business dealing/relationship. Just want to know how much is the copay. Finally after I insisted to talk to someone who can answer the question, she patched me to someone who put me on hold for about 10 minutes and the line went dead. I spent almost an hour for nothing. The partnership with Ochsner means nothing. I just guess I will end up paying $60 dollar as copay. I did not want to take the chance. Called up insurance company. They sent me to Ochsner in Bay Saint Louis. It was a 24 miles drive. But I got great, friendly, fast service. Everything was done less tan 20 minutes. And my copay was “0”. Got the result same day on my phone same day. Wow! This Garden Park Hospital/Sing River Hospital needs to retrain their staffs. Or patient just take their business elsewhere, like me.

This place should be closed...no respect for patient or family members. They do not practice HIPPA Rules/guidelines. I can't believe SRHS is part of thisPlace. O will never go back or anyone I know go to this place.

I checked in at 8:05pm they got my billing information like around 9:30 here it is 11pm and I haven’t been seen because the “ROOMS” are allegedly not clean and ready…btw I’m pregnant! What if something was seriously wrong with my baby…I’m highly upset with their service tonight. No I didn’t stay I left because why is it taking y’all 2 1/2 hrs to clean the rooms.

I have gone to Garden Park medical center hospital for years for all my many surgeries and procedures. It’s so close to where I live and I like it there if only I could walk from the parking lot to get inside it would be perfect. Sometimes when you can’t walk it’s hard to imagine how hard just a few hundred steps make? ! I have told different people at hospital about it and they said they have the volunteer for me, but they are very fragile to me to get me from my car in the parking lot to inside the hospital. I hope someone would solve that problem for me please ??

Lauren was the best representative of this hospital. She was transparent with every step she took in my daughters care. She kept us informed throughout the process of waiting on the doctor, the x-rays and the results. She was so positive and friendly, she made our stay welcoming.
