About River Bend Veterinary Hospital
River Bend Veterinary Hospital offers compassionate care for pets of all kinds. The staff and Dr. Ladnier are understanding and take time to explain procedures and costs. Clients appreciate the convenience of the Diamondhead location and the staff's willingness to discuss treatment options. The clinic has a welcoming atmosphere and is known for its gentle handling of animals, even those who are fearful or aggressive. Dr. Burkey is also recognized as an excellent vet who genuinely cares about helping pet owners understand their pets' conditions. While the hospital is praised for its compassion, it's noted that they no longer have a vet who can care for turtles, though they provide contacts for other facilities. New clients have expressed appreciation for the support and care received during difficult times, making this vet a recommended choice for pet owners.
We recently brought our little girl Birdie to Riverbend Veterinary Clinic for her first puppy shots at six weeks old, and we had a wonderful experience. From the very first phone call, everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. When we arrived, the staff remembered our previous conversations, which made us feel valued and cared for.
The visit was smooth, professional, and stress-free. It’s clear that the team genuinely loves animals and treats them like family. We left feeling confident that Birdie will be well cared for and loved every time she visits. We highly recommend Riverbend Veterinary Clinic to anyone looking for compassionate, quality care for their pets!
Really good experience with my dogs for checkups. You could tell they love animals. They took extra time to help realign my dogs vaccination schedules which had gotten out of sync so we don’t have to come in as frequently. Very reasonable prices.
So thankful for this vet office the friendly staff and the knowledgeable vet, she went above and beyond for our mini pom puppy and if not for her and her knowledge I don't think Ms candy would be with us today
