AAFES Barber Shop offers good haircuts and a friendly atmosphere. Customers appreciate the talented barbers who take their time to do the job right. The shop is often open on Sundays when other places are closed, making it convenient for last-minute haircuts. However, some customers have experienced unprofessional service, such as late opening times and lack of greeting, which affects the overall experience. Despite this, many leave satisfied with the quality and price of the service.
Could just be my experience, but it's a lot better than the other reviews say. I paid $18 for a simple fade, and the lady cutting my hair did really good. You might not get as lucky with the barber, but I'd say give it a shot.
This is the 3rd and last chance I give this place. Each time has been the same result. Paid $23+$5 tip for a hair cut “medium fade” and the lady was totally careless. My hair is uneven. She jacked up my sideburns which are also uneven. Behind my ears are uneven and not faded at all. This place and the mini bx barber are complete trash. It’s the easiest haircut to give someone. I would make an appointment somewhere off base if you can.
Whoever cut my husbands hair today should not have scissors. He asked for a little off the top and she took buzzers to his head. He said it hurt too. So disappointed he took time to grow it out up too. Just because it’s a military haircut doesn’t mean it should look bad. I’m actually so upset why is this allowed?
