I just read the reviews for Plants Express and while some are way old, I'm SHOCKED!! I ordered a kumquat tree because no one else had them in stock. It arrived quickly and was so green, healthy and beautiful I had to fight myself not to order more as I didn't have much room left after planting over 100 trees. The kumquat was as described, delivered during hot weather and is doing great. I put it in the ground and it's flowering and happy. Decided to get one more about a month later as well as 2 little miss figgy's. Again, so healthy, green, shiny and pretty. The kumquat has at least 50 fruits on it with more developing. The figs, considering they're a dwarf fig, were large, happy and lots of good placed branches with figs already growing. I planted them right away and can't wait for them to keep growing. I am banning myself from their site for now, because I already know these trees are such great quality I'll buy more if I look. After purchasing from at least 7 online retailers and 4 in person nurseries, I'd rate Plants Express either #2 or tied with #1.. it's hard to compare the two top online retailers as they are completely different tree vendors with different sizes. I don't know what's up with the other reviews but whoever is running the shop now knows what they're doing. I'll probably be back on their site again sometime next week.
Was supposed to load on Monday called them because I live in the area and was able to load on Friday afternoon. Tom was the person who loaded me very friendly and quick. In and out in less than an hour.
I just bought 15 plants from Plants Express and am thrilled by the quality of the plants. I ordered both 1-gallon and 5-gallon plants. They all arrived in excellent shape. Using the website was a little rocky--I ended up calling to complete the order. But I did get an excellent coupon on-line. Chris, the person I ordered from, was extremely helpful in advising me about plant selection. I couldn't be happier!
