1634 W Elfindale St, Springfield“Apparently, our cat licked the flea treatment off of our large breed dog. We were headed out the door to take our twins to St. Louis for medical reasons when we found Spike seizing. I rushed him to the closest vet, which happened to be Spring Valley. The vet rushed him back within seconds and the techs were equally dedicated to moving as fast as possible. Our cat, who is an ESA for our son who is on the spectrum, is a very important part of our family. My son would have been devastated if Spike didn't make it. The level of care that he received at spring Valley was beyond any vet experience we've ever had. He had to stay overnight, but we were given several updates along the way. The vet himself actually called twice! What medical professional has the time to do that nowadays!? We were even able to get to st. Louis on time! They were able to stabilize him and when we picked him up later the next day, it was night and day compared to the previous day. He was up, walking around, eating, wanting attention. Their care and attention saved Spike's life. But more than that, they saved my son from having to lose his buddy. I don't think they understand how much they helped us that day. We will be switching from our current vet and going to Spring Valley. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!“

2845 W Kearney St, Springfield“Got there the night before. Enough room for maybe 2 trucks to park out of the way. Had an 8am appointment, checked in at 7:55. And I rolled out empty before 9am. They said 1 bag of dog food had opened but there was nothing in my trailer when I pulled away. Trailer was clean. The employees I dealt with were very good.“

1332 W Sunshine St, Springfield“We brought our border collie/corgi Rusty to Dr. Nie about two years ago. Rusty had suffered some sort of hind leg injury (a very debilitating injury) that our regular vet could not diagnose/treat to our satisfaction, and Rusty had a severe limp. I suspected a knee problem but not necessarily a severe ligament tear, and Dr. Nie confirmed that in addition to a problem with dysplasia. Our initial consultation lasted in excess of an hour, and Dr. Nie’s explanation of the x-rays, the problem, and what needed to be done was the clearest, easy-to-understand breakdown of a scenario that I had ever heard. Basically, he prescribed innovative therapy, a professionally designed diet, and chiropractic to address the injury (we were doing everything we could to avoid a surgery, and Dr. Nie helped us do that very thing). Within about 7 months, our dog had lost half his body weight (about 30 pounds) without exercise, and by the end of the first year, any evidence of an injury was gone. We continue to visit Dr. Nie, utilize his services for further therapy and chiropractic services, and follow his direction for a healthy dog. I highly recommend this business (IVSMO). They have a true heart for helping animals, and their professionalism is second-to-none.“
