My wife and I recently removed all the acoustic popcorn from our 40+ year old ceilings and were left with bare uneven drywall. Not to mention a very large patched area left from a wall the we tore down a few years ago. All in all trying to make everything a smooth clean white ceiling was going to take a serious professional.
