Every person I encountered was phenomenal. The wait was not long to be seen or to have tests done. The wait was long waiting on a radiologist from off-site to look at the x-rays. But that was understandable.
And while I waited, I was kept updated, had some great conversations with some staff when they weren't busy with other patients.
Everyone was so nice and the facility was very clean.
I'm in this area visiting my daughter and her family and have been to other urgent care facilities in several states. I would highly recommend Phelps Health walk in clinic in Waynesville.
No ENT doctor or associate could see me for days, but Aaron Cholmin saw me within 30 minutes, diagnosed my problem, sent in prescriptions in a timely manner, & I was able to enjoy Thanksgiving with my family. What an answer to prayer!
I came in with an infected dog bite to my hand and everyone treated me kindly from the staff at the front desk to the nurse and P.A. Christopher was understanding and able to diagnose how bad the infection was and I don’t think I was there longer than an hour tops. I am a truck driver from out of state and it was extremely helpful that there was a pharmacy there as well.
