Even though he still struggles sometimes, he is noticeably calmer with her because of how patient, gentle, and understanding she is with him. She never makes us feel rushed or judged, and that means more to me than I can explain. Going out in public with an autistic child can already feel overwhelming at times, especially during situations like haircuts, so finding someone as kind and compassionate as Haley has been such a blessing for our family.
