“Just had my haircut here after a last minute cancellation by Cleveland here. Can not say enough great things about not only the haircut but the barber himself. He took plenty of time and was thorough and a true artist. He is extremely personable and kind. I was so happy to make a follow up appointment with him. Found my barber!“
“One of the last of a dying breed... a real life, Barber Shop! Straight razor and all!I hate that I forgot the proprietors name, but he was just a good ol' boy, redneck, from rural Missouri and proud of his roots! Came to the city and found his passion, bartering! And darn good it! Masterful with the straight razor.I loved the experience! He was kind and gentle, and funny as he'll! I am recovering from a MAJOR surgery, where I had 42 staples placed in my abdomen, and he was so kind to help me in and out of my chair. Very patient! And, again, very funny! If you are looking for some yuppy, uppy, spot, don't bother coming here. But, if you want a fantastic haircut, or shave, from a self-proclaimed, and proud, good ol' boy redneck, a master at his craft... You MUST give this guy a chance! I wish I could give 10 stars! “It was my first time coming to this establishment, so I was a Lady Jane virgin. I was not sure if they took walk-ins but I gave it a shot. I walked in, and they have a nice relaxing chairs and TVs at sitting eye height for you. All of the services are posted on the wall with prices. I just got the regular cut, it might be called the “classic”. Sitting there, I realized there was a computer kiosk area where you need to sign in. So I got up and signed in for the next available. You can choose which stylist if you like. There were two stylist and two people getting their haircut, and no one waiting, so it was a small wait. I think there were six chairs for busier days. The stylist finished up then called me up. She asked me what I wanted and she went to work, like a windmill with scissors. She layered it and then laid a warm towel on my neck to prepare a nice neck shave. She was very nice and polite and carried a conversation along with the cut. There was no hard sale of any products or other services. Although I might get a beard trim or some hair color the next time, I go to try them. I think my cut took 10 minutes (not much hair to cut.) She rang me out for payment and I was on my way out the door, looking all fresh. Easy peasy, lemon squeeze!“
