“Finding a new salon when you move to a new area, in my case new state, is very nerve racking. Having bad experiences is worse. There are two sets of photos below. One where my hair is choppy, thick and uneven, those are photos from a bad review I left for the stylist who did my hair.
The other set is the fixed cut I received today, my hair is even, has soft layering and was thinned out with the soft curtain bangs I wanted before.
As I stated I did previously write a bad review and as soon as they saw it they called me and got me in with Nicole (owner) and she was SPECTACULAR! Nicole made sure to ask me what I wanted, listened carefully, ask for inspiration pictures and explained to me how she interpreted that picture to be sure we were on the same page for how the cut would be. She asked me multiple questions throughout the cut to be sure it was done to my liking, after all we’re clients and sometimes don’t explain our desires using proper terminology so I was very relieved that she did this. I would rather have too questions and get it right, than too many cuts and be unhappy. She gave me the soft layers I wanted, the sustain bangs I wanted, and thinned my thick hair out the way I wanted. I’m very satisfied with my repaired haircut and very sad that she is taking a step back from behind the chair but I’m set up with Jalyn (salon partner) for all future cuts and color and I feel very secure in that choice as I saw the cute cut and style she did on another client while I was there. Not all stylist are for everyone but I do feel confident in saying that everyone can find their right stylist at this place. This salon isn’t just full of kind welcoming people, it’s also very clean, adorable and is also in a great location.
Thank you Nicole for taking the time to make this right, for a great cut, and for being so kind to me in the process. I look forward to being a long term client not only for me but for my daughters as well.
