I purchased the living social voucher which did not expire until 9/26/12 and was told they did not have any appointments. I called back about an hour later on the same day and said I did not have a voucher all of sudden they had an appointment. I did keep my appointment and made another one so I could use my voucher for three weeks later. That appointment was for 11:30 am. it took them almost an hour later to service me. The staff was rude and did not talk to you at all. I was not going to leave. I was very disappointed with Shellac Nails. I bought a living social deal for a manicure and pedicure and they refused to schedule me in once they found out I was going to be using a coupon. They then disconnected their phone lines around the time the deal expired so that people could not get through to make an appointment. My mom walked in and tried to get her manicure and they were more than willing to help her until they found out she had the living social deal, they then refused to take her and said they were completely booked even though there was no one in the store. They were also very rude and condescending. There are many other nail salons in the area that have... read full review

I had very similar experience with trying to use a living social coupon. But, it gets better! I finally did get an appointment, and after getting started w/ pedi, they asked to see my voucher. I had it on my phone - I don't print since the voucher states to bring electronic copy to appointment to get scanned. Well, they don't have scanning technology and insisted that I go back home to print the voucher. Or, I was welcome to pay FULL PRICE that day and come back another time. I showed them the voucher on my screen, including the statement that an electronic version for scanning is acceptable. They would not accept the electronic version even though that is in... read full review
