advertising tactics are scammy. I am not interested, yet they keep mailing me "personal and confidential" Addressed to "Vehicle Owner" and the year and model of car is incorrect. If they were legit, they would not have to resort to this kind of advertising.
What’s going on CarShield?! I’ve been on the same contract for over 5 years & this is the 2nd time I had to pay more than my $100 deductible that’s in my Platinum contract. I’ve never paid more than my deductible in the past, but now since the labor costs at these shops have gone up tremendously, now I have to pay the difference. Not fair, you need to raise the hourly labor rate in my contract. WTH?!
I would rate Carshield a zero if I could. Please don't be taken in by a bunch of paid actors and celebrities who have never needed to use this service. I paid for insurance through Carshield for 2 vehicles and when I needed a new engine, even the autobody/dealership couldn't get them to pay my claim. I spoke with numerous individuals even some managers and to no avail. Some even hung up on me. Had to junk my jeep and ended up canceling the Car Shield insurance on my Mercedes because they don't honor claims.
