Dr Sette is amazing! Kahlua almost died in January from Thyroid storm. He had an ICU weekend at Mizzou. I don’t live anywhere near Mizzou and needed someone to manage his complicated care plan due to multiple new co-morbidities. 7 1/2 months later Kahlua is thriving at 16 1/2. I’ve had him since he was a kitten and am grateful for her care!
My vet is closed every Wednesday and my dog had nausea/vomiting for 48 hours already. I was able to call them at 845 am and get an urgent care appointment by 930. They had us in and out in 2 hrs. Very caring vet and techs. Gave my boy IV fluids, nausea injection and antibiotics and a bland diet to follow. It was expensive but I didn’t want him sick another 24 hours without care. They took good care of him and I recommended an urgent care appointment if your vet can’t see you.
We live in the Eureka / Pacific area and have a local vet, and use Webster Grove Animal Hospital for off-hour and emergency veterinary needs. All of our experiences here have been very positive. Im surprised by their current overall sub-3 star rating, we have yet to experience anything other than helpful and friendly staff, and charges that were significantly less than other emergencyvet providers. If you are looking for a local vet or need emergency services please do give them a try, dont let the marginal rating number scare you off.
